What's Luck Got To Do With It?

We say it everytime we wish someone well. Good Luck.

There are many people who believe that the wealthy are successful because they've been so lucky.

When you start a new business venture, such as network marketing or mystery shopping, it's good to have some luck on your side.

However, luck is a bit overrated.

People who make a lot of money get there with a lot of hard work and effort. The more time you put into your business, the sales (or luck) have a better chance to follow.

Luck is something you need when you enter a contest where a winner is determined by a name being drawn from a hat.

The only way you can make a lot of money by not lifting a finger is by an inheritance or winning a lottery. Other than that, you're going to have to work for it.

Many people struggle with their business, especially in the beginning. This happens a lot and it's not because you're not lucky. It happens because you have to learn from mistakes you make. Success (or luck) will not be handed to you on a platter.

With mystery shopping, I applied to many different mystery shop companies online and asked for specific assignments. I was given a few in the beginning and did the best job possible on all reports. My name was soon getting around to other companies, including video mystery shop companies. Suddenly, I was getting invitations from companies to do assignments for them.

Do you call that luck? I suppose you could. But, it's more like planting seeds in a garden. You plant enough seeds, you'll have flowers blooming all over the place.

Would I have had people knocking on my door if I hadn't applied anything and just watched videos all day? Absolutely not.

The same is true for a network marketing business. If you're talking to people about your business, you're increasing your chances that they will partner with you. If you don't make any calls, or think that straightening your desk is productive, then you may feel like you're down on your luck. Whatever you do, don't complain that you're not lucky. Better yet, don't complain. Work toward your goal to the best of your ability.

Keep in mind that you will have stumbling blocks and frustration that may put doubts in your mind about accomplishing the goal. It happens to everyone. It's tempting to quit. Make sure you never do that.

Everyone needs a little luck to be successful with their business.

But, luck won't happen if you don't do anything to help your situation.
